We're just down the road from Junction 3 M60/Junction 1 M56 and right by the A34 (Kingsway). Burnage station is in the next street, 2 stops (8 minutes) away from Manchester's main line Piccadilly Station. Drive and street parking are available. People come here for lessons from all over the Greater Manchester area and from abroad.
Combine your piano lesson with a wander round Didsbury village, stop for a coffee at one of our pavement cafes, have lunch in one of the many restaurants or a drink in a choice of pubs. Didsbury has an art gallery, an antiquarian bookshop, a healthfood/therapy shop, an award-winning cheese shop and a fantastic fish, fruit and veg shop, not to mention an exotic alpine garden at Fletcher Moss Park.

PARENTS' PIANO WORKSHOPS
Bewildered parents don't always know what their children are up to when they're practising at home. If parents have no knowledge of music themselves, it can be quite daunting supervising their child and wondering whether they're playing correctly or even practising what they've been told to do.
Manchester Piano Tutor runs special sessions for pupils' parents. They learn about the types of notes and their length; they learn to recognise the keys on the piano and the notes on the page; about good posture, timing, dynamics, scales and all the basic knowledge they need to help their child's practise sessions.
And your child doesn't need to be a pupil here either, as anyone can come on our workshops.

Anyone can learn to play the piano; you are never too old and rusty pianists can also brush up their skills here. I accept pupils from the age of 6 upwards, providing they are mature enough. I can teach you to play classical or popular music, for your own pleasure or to enter ABRSM exams. Together, we'll work out the best course of action for your needs.
