If you need a piano accompanist for rehearsals, auditions, competitions, music festivals, lessons, classes, exams or performances, please contact me with your needs.

I am available as an accompanist for dancers, singers, musicians and operatic societies. My sight reading is good but I prefer rehearsals before undertaking engagements.

In the 60s and 70s, while living in Paris, I accompanied violinist Alain Savile in a programme of Brahms and Mozart and, on my return to the UK I became accompanist for Oldham Operatic Society, working with singers, dancers and chorus for shows including My Fair Lady, Half a Sixpence, The Desert Song and a large scale revue of songs down the ages, which won the Society an award. These were performed at the Oldham Coliseum and Grange Arts Centre. Trinity Operatic Society, Oldham was another society I worked with and occasionally I stood in for Ashton Operatic and other societies.

After moving from the area to south Manchester, I provided the music for Manchester College of Adult Education's Basement Theatre and, in addition to accompaniment and cameo roles, wrote the music and lyrics (and a rap) for Sue Townsend's Bazaar and Rummage.

I accompanied dancers in cabarets for choreographer Pat Dyson and worked as accompanist at her school of dancing in Shaw; also for Marianne Jepson's Theatre School in Oldham.
